  I went to see another dentist who is in a job share role with the original dentist last week. I had a cavity in my front teeth. I was told to fix up that cavity it was going to be $500. I accepted because i thought for that much money they will be able to do a good job. I sat in there for an hour. Afterwards it was done I came home only to find that my tooth looked like it was still decayed and aesthetically speaking improvement was only around 20%.I returned to the dentist and she attempted to fix it up again and she improved the filling however you could still clearly see where the fixing took place. She then explained about reflection and how it isn't possible to match it all exactly. I would have appreciated before she started to do the procedure if she had informed me ' hey amela, we might charge you $500, however your teeth will still show that you have a cavity there " i would have made a decision then and there to consult somebody different.

  I was quoted by this practice to do extensive dental work. The overall cost was just over 2k. After two cancellations ( made by the dentist ) i decided to change over the original dentist that initially quoted me as the time she was available was no longer suitable for me.

  I came in for my 2nd appointment to fix another two teeth. For these two they ( the original dentist i saw )quoted me $230 and $250 to fix up the cavity and to build up the teeth. When i saw my dentist today she told me that i was under-quoted and my were going to cost 350 each and there was still a possibility that i wasn't going to be happy with there result.

  Good luck to anybody who wishes to see them. They might be good for doing simple jobs but for more complicated matters ( not that i knew my job was going to be THAT complicated ) i suggest you see someone else.

  Overall it wasn't the fact that they are expensive, which they are compared to some of the other dentists that i've seen before, it was the fact that they were not able to inform me prior to doing anything what possible outcomes may arise. Looks like they can provide you quotes to do something however they will not stand by them.

  I left a complaint with the manager whose main comment was that if i saw him he would have charged me even more for the initial work done on my front tooth.

  I asked the manager if the dentists were sub contractors and he said no, which left me asking how can dentist presumably working under the same person charge different for the same service?
